Kaimanu Outrigger provides various levels of racing for individuals depending upon their goals. Competitive paddlers are expected to attend practices three times a week during the season.

The six-man outrigger canoe season begins in February and runs through September. Sprint regattas are held during the summer months and there are both pre- and post-sprint long distance races spanning 5 miles for novices and 10+ miles for open paddlers.

All paddlers are required to fill out a liability waiver before they get into a canoe. Safety practices and procedures will be enforced at all times.
